***Please Read***
I recommend a CO2 laser to be used to cut through the 5mm or 1/4" material version but a 40W diode laser will also work, but cut times will be slower. Also ensure your laser bed can accommodate the size of this project. Longest part is 19" in length, most laser can cut this width nowadays but it's worth noting. Included 1/8" or 3mm material thickness version is great for diode lasers with a large enough work area and also lower power (60w and below) CO2 lasers.
