Shapeoko 5 Pro 2'x4' Wasteboard Surfacing Files

These DIGITAL FILES make it easy to surface the wasteboard on your Shapeoko 5 Pro 2'x4' CNC without having to create your own surfacing toolpaths.

Your purchase includes two ready-to-run Carbide Create .C2D files, with the toolpaths already set up:

• 1-1/8" Surfacing Bit File — configured for use with a 1-1/8" diameter surfacing bit
• 1-1/2" Surfacing Bit File — configured for use with a 1-1/2" diameter surfacing bit

Simply choose the file that matches your surfacing bit, open it in Carbide Create, follow the setup instructions, and you're ready to surface your wasteboard.

Surfacing creates a flat working surface that's parallel to your CNC's cutting plane, helping provide more consistent cutting and engraving depths across the usable area of your machine. It's perfect for setting up a new Shapeoko 5 Pro 2'x4', resurfacing an existing wasteboard, or surfacing a new set of my upgraded Shapeoko wasteboard slats.
