A direct replacement for the factory Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x4 waste board slats.
Manufactured from upgraded 1" ultra-light MDF, these slats provide additional resurfacing life while maintaining compatibility with your existing hardware and setup.
The only difference from the factory design is our two-piece slat construction, which reduces shipping costs while still assembling into a full-length slat using a precision-cut friction-fit puzzle joint.

This version comes pre-machined with our popular dog hole and threaded insert layout, allowing you to immediately begin using clamps, fixtures, fences, and workholding accessories without additional setup.

Innovative Two-Piece Slat Design
A traditional Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x4 waste board requires slats nearly 49" long, which can significantly increase shipping costs. Plus, this dimension is typically not achievable to be cut on a standard 4'x4' CNC.
To solve this problem, each slat is manufactured in two sections and joined using a precision-cut friction-fit puzzle joint.
Simply slide the two halves together during assembly to create a full-length slat.

Why 1" Ultra-Light MDF?
