The 20mm dog holes provide convenient positioning and alignment points for compatible bench dogs and accessories, while the M6 threaded inserts give you mounting locations throughout the wasteboard for clamps, stops, fixtures, and other workholding accessories.

And because all 100 M6 inserts arrive pre-installed, there's no additional drilling or installation required.

1-INCH ULTRALIGHT MDF

Both versions are precision CNC machined from 1-inch-thick ultralight MDF.

The extra thickness gives you a substantial replaceable work surface with plenty of material for future resurfacing, while ultralight MDF helps reduce the overall weight compared with conventional MDF.

TWO-PIECE INTERLOCKING SLATS

The Shapeoko 4 XXL requires long wasteboard slats, and shipping them at full length means a much larger—and more expensive—package.

Our solution is a precision-machined two-piece design.

Each slat consists of two tightly fitting sections that are assembled before installation. Once pressed together, the pieces function as a complete full-length slat.

The result?

A full-size Shapeoko 4 XXL wasteboard that can ship in a much smaller box.

EASY INSTALLATION

No need to manufacture a replacement wasteboard from scratch.

REMOVE → ASSEMBLE → INSTALL → SURFACE → START CUTTING

Simply remove your existing slats, assemble the new two-piece slats, attach them to your Shapeoko 4 XXL, surface the new wasteboard, and you're ready to start cutting.
